Walking with C.S. Lewis: A Multimedia Experience

on February 17, 2015

Lexham Press is excited to announce a new multimedia curriculum highlighting sixteen of the best-known and most beloved works of C.S. Lewis. Join Dr. Tony Ash on a journey through the life and works of one of the most revered authors of the modern era.

In Walking with C.S. Lewis, Tony Ash opens a door for those who have never been introduced to Lewis or his writings. And those already familiar with Lewis will appreciate Ash?s thought-provoking commentary. Having been strongly impacted by the writings of Lewis, Ash seeks to use those writings to help others deepen their spiritual walk.

In the 10 episode video series, you?ll visit historic sites from Lewis? life. Nearly all of the episodes were recorded on-location at places like Oxford University?s Magdalen College; The Kilns, C.S. Lewis? home from 1931?1963; University Church of St. Mary the Virgin; Holy Trinity Church; The Church of St. James the Great; and a 12th Century Roman convent. With these incredible sites as the background, Dr. Ash?s interpretations of Lewis and his writing will help you to enrich your faith and gain new insights into the life and works of Lewis.

As you work through the video series, a companion book and accompanying study guides will help you enhance your study and deepen your understanding. The curriculum will be written by Ryan J. Pemberton who earned a degree in theology from Oxford University. While at Oxford, he also lived in C.S. Lewis?s former home and served as the President of the Oxford University C.S. Lewis Society. Pemberton recently published Called: My Journey to C.S. Lewis?s House and Back Again.

Here’s a brief trailer for the video series (note: this video series was originally titled?Jack & Me.):
